In a heartwarming initiative aimed at shaping a brighter future for the youth, New Hope Healthcare Corp recently held its first school-based vision screening at Holy Spirit Academy of Calinan Inc. This milestone event was led by Dr. Lareen Dawn Tan, President of New Hope Healthcare Corp, and brought together dedicated teachers, staff, and New Hope Healthcare’s compassionate nurses and employees in a unified mission to support children’s eye health.

The vision screening aimed to identify vision issues among students at an early stage, a crucial step in ensuring these young learners have the best chance to excel both academically and socially. By catching potential vision problems early, New Hope Healthcare Corp is empowering students to overcome barriers that may impede their learning and overall quality of life. In addition to the screenings, the event featured a well-received seminar on children’s eye health. This educational session, attended by teachers, students, and parents, highlighted the importance of regular eye check-ups and underscored the strong connection between good vision and improved school performance.

The success of this event reflects New Hope Healthcare Corp’s deep commitment to community service and quality healthcare. With plans to extend school-based vision screenings across more schools, New Hope Healthcare is taking proactive steps to ensure that children have the visual clarity they need to reach their full potential. By prioritizing children’s eye health, New Hope Healthcare Corp is helping to build a foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and achievement.
